Ingredients : - 1½ cups unbleached all-purpose flour - ½ tsp baking soda - A pinch of salt - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted - 1 cup packed brown sugar - 2 tbsp sugar - 1 egg - 175g of FAA CARAMELS with Cocoa - 195g milk or dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Instructions : 1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. 2. In another bowl, mix the butter with the brown sugar and sugar with a wooden spoon. Add the egg. Mix until the mixture is smooth. 3. Heat the FAA CARAMELS with cocoa for a few seconds in the microwave and add it to the preparation. 4. Stir in dry ingredients and chocolate. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. 5. Place rack in center of oven. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 6. Using an ice cream scoop of about 45 ml (3 tbsp), form balls of dough. Place 5 to 6 balls of dough on each baking sheet, spacing them apart. 7. Bake, one sheet at a time, for 8 to 9 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned all around but still very soft in the center. Let cool on the sheet. 8.
