CAMEMBERT AND APPLES GRILLED CHEESE WITH CARAMEL

Ingredients :
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) softened butter
- 4 apples, peeled and cut into thin slices
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) cinnamon
- 1/2 jar of CARAMELS FAA apple and blackcurrant caramel, 315 g
- 8 slices of Belgian bread
- 150 g (1/3 lb) of Camembert, sliced
Instructions :
1. In a skillet, melt 30 ml (2 tbsp) of butter over medium heat. Cook the apples with the cinnamon for 4 to 5 minutes, until golden brown.
2. Add the caramel and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes, until the apples are caramelized. Remove from the heat and let cool.
3. Spread the remaining butter on one side of the bread slices.
4. On the unbuttered side of four slices of bread, spread the apple mixture and the Camembert. Cover with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side out, and press lightly.
5. Heat a large skillet over low-medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 3 minutes on each side, until bread is golden brown.
6. If desired, garnish the grilled cheese with a little caramel.
